A sword may strike, a storm may roar,
But words can open every door.
They build, they break, they soothe, they scar,
They tell the world just who you are.
Not just the tones, but truths they bear,
In silence spoken, or bold and bare.
A whisper kind, a promise kept,
Outlast the footprints where you’ve stepped.
So wield them well, both sharp and wise,
For words can lift or compromise.
A man is known not by his land,
But by the truths he dares to stand.
“I’ll never forget being discriminated against. In this past 2 years, one of the main reason I worked so hard at everything was to prove to the world that people with my condition can still function a normal and rewarding life – it’s all down to determination and how hard you want to fight for what you want in life. Illness is not an obstacle. Whatever I wanted, I had to struggle doubly or triply harder than anyone else to get there. But all is futile in the end. I once heard from the same person “Your tongue is the sharpest weapon”, and also being told that no one human should be in the position to judge another human on this planet Earth for it is God’s role to judge us, not humans. What a hypocrite. True blue one.“
