Love isn’t measured, by the laughter we’ve shared,
But by the tears we’ve dried, and the pain we’ve dared.
It’s not the happy moments, that define its might,
But the struggles we’ve faced, through the dark of night.
It’s the pain we’ve endured, the heartache we’ve known,
The sacrifices we’ve made, to keep love its own.
The times we’ve forgiven, and the times we’ve tried,
To hold on to love, despite the tears we’ve cried.
Love is counted, in the moments we’ve been torn,
And still we’ve chosen, to love and to be reborn.
It’s the strength we’ve found, in the midst of strife,
And the courage we’ve had, to love for all of life.
So let us not forget, the pain we’ve endured,
For it’s in the darkness, that love is truly ensured.
For love is not just laughter, but tears and pain,
And the effort we’ve made, to love and to sustain.
