“Strangers are friends you have not met.” – as an ex-Outward Boundian, this is one of my life’s guiding principles. I’m fortunate to be able to make friends and strike conversations with just the most random people and mostly at the most unexpected of all places and circumstances.
I’ve gotten to know Elysha just last September (or August) in the most random of circumstances – at the nurse station taking my vitals before going to see Dr WM.
And our friendship have evolved leaps and bounds since then.
I am truly appreciative for her support especially through the ordeal last year and my admissions. Something that I am eternally grateful to God for.
Amidst all the stressors, anxieties, and worries of today while trying to juggle everything and the 100 over WhatsApp messages pressuring from clients to experts to internal to suppliers as I turned my phone on airplane mode and slept since Thursday evening, Elysha texted me this picture early this morning which we took last week (but she got it animated which she said, thanks to ChatGPT!!! :P). I couldn’t stop smiling and a profound sense of gratitude warmed my heart.
There are indeed angels among us.
